1 lb ground beef
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon onion powder
1/2 cup diced onions
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

1 can (8 oz) refrigerated crescent roll dough
2 tablespoons melted butter
1 teaspoon garlic powder (for butter)
1 tablespoon chopped parsley (optional)

Preheat oven to 375°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
In a skillet over medium heat, cook ground beef and diced onions. Add salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder. Cook until beef is browned and fully cooked, about 8-10 minutes. Drain any excess grease and let cool slightly.
Stir in the shredded cheddar cheese and mix well.
Unroll the crescent dough and separate into 8 triangles.
Spoon a heaping tablespoon of the beef mixture onto the wide end of each crescent triangle. Roll up each triangle, starting at the wide end and rolling toward the point. Place seam-side down on the prepared baking sheet.
Mix melted butter with 1 teaspoon garlic powder, then brush the tops of the rollups generously.
Bake for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown. Sprinkle with chopped parsley if desired.
Serve warm with ketchup, ranch, or your favorite dipping sauce.
