Ingredients:

4 salmon fillets (skin-on or skinless)

Salt & black pepper

1 tbsp olive oil

Glaze:

¼ cup honey

¼ cup bourbon

2 tbsp soy sauce

1 tbsp Dijon mustard

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 tbsp lemon juice

Pinch of red pepper flakes (optional)

1. Prepare Glaze: In a saucepan over medium heat, combine honey, bourbon, soy sauce, mustard, garlic, lemon juice, and red pepper flakes. Simmer for 5–7 minutes until slightly thickened. Set aside.

2. Cook Salmon: Season fillets with salt and pepper. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Cook salmon 3–4 min per side (depending on thickness), until golden and flaky.

3. Glaze It: Brush glaze over salmon during the last 1–2 minutes of cooking, or drizzle it on just before serving.

Sautéed Shrimp

Ingredients:

1 lb large shrimp (peeled & deveined)

1 tbsp butter + 1 tbsp olive oil

2 garlic cloves, minced

Salt & pepper

½ tsp paprika (optional)

Lemon wedge (for garnish)

Instructions:

1. Season shrimp with salt, pepper, and paprika.

2. Heat butter and oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add garlic and sauté 30 seconds.

3. Add shrimp and cook for 2–3 minutes per side until opaque. Finish with a squeeze of lemon.

Cheesy Broccoli

Ingredients:

3 cups broccoli florets

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

2 tbsp butter

2 tbsp all-purpose flour

1 cup milk

Salt, pepper, garlic powder (to taste)

Instructions:

1. Steam Broccoli: Cook broccoli until tender (about 4–5 min).

2. Make Cheese Sauce: In a saucepan, melt butter, whisk in flour and cook 1–2 min. Gradually whisk in milk. Cook until thickened, then stir in cheese until melted. Season to taste.

3. Pour cheese sauce over broccoli and stir gently.

Corn (Simple Buttered Corn or Fancy Version)

Option 1: Simple Buttered Corn

2 cups corn kernels (fresh, canned, or frozen)

2 tbsp butter

Salt & pepper

→ Heat butter in a pan, add corn, season, and sauté 4–5 minutes.

Option 2: Creamy Cajun Corn (if you want to spice it up)

2 cups corn

¼ cup heavy cream

1 tsp Cajun seasoning

1 tbsp butter

Optional: chopped green onions or crumbled bacon

→ Sauté corn in butter, add seasoning and cream, and cook until creamy.

Plate the salmon with a drizzle of glaze, top with sautéed shrimp, and serve with generous portions of cheesy broccoli and corn. Garnish with parsley or green onion for color.
